First round of clomid

I am starting my first round of clomid in two days and i was hoping for a little encouragement, maybe a success story or two. I am so nervous, we have been trying for 8 months and I have been on metformin for half of that time. Every time I miss a period I get so excited and so does the hubby, and I have to disappoint us both, just want to keep the excitement for a change!!

Do not worry about it...it might take more than one round of clomid to get a baby...I was on my third one (100mg) and we got pg yet we m/c back in July...i am patiently now waiting for af to show up after a HSG and polyp removal to start back up on clomid...i have also been on metformin for about 1 year...Best wishes and let's hope for a healthy 2007 Baby!!!

I'm currently pregnant with my 2nd clomid assisted pregnancy. First time I got pregnant with my son on the first round. This pregnancy it took 4 rounds. So keep an open mind and try and increase your odds as much as possible. I too had tried for months and months before clomid gave me a bfp. I'm polycystic so getting pregnant on my own was probably not going to happen. My sister in law had tried for months too and she had no known reasons why she hadn't conceived. She took clomid and on the first shot it worked. Best of luck to you!!

I am currently am on my third pregnancy it is my first with clomid. I was a little disapppointed after my first round as I produced 2 eggs and did not get pregnant. On my second round I produced one egg and still nothing. I was only going to give it 4 rounds as I was tired of trying it had been nearly 18 months and then low and behold when we got back from holiday in november I did a test and was pregnant off my third round. ans then I got the double surprise of finding out it was twins. Just don't get too disappointed if it doesn't work first time. Good Luck and remeber to have fun it helps.

I am on my first round of clomid and I have breast tenderness, nauseaus feeling, urinating a lot, fatigue... could I be pregnant? I am only on CD 25...
