First tooth!!

Riley is cutting a tooth!! I swear!  ha.  He is only 12.5 weeks old but I'm pretty positive he's cutting his first tooth. (Unless there's something else wrong with his gums, it's 100% sure now) Poor little guy!! Oh my gosh. It's awful. I'm so excited, this is a big step in his development... yet I'm sad.. He's going through soo much pain and .. :( He's growing too fast!!! I just want to cry with him...

can you see the tooth or is the gum white? Cam's gum was like that for 2 months until his first tooth popped out..he got his first when he turned 5 mos and 4 days later had his second but i swore he was getting one way before...he now gets 2 every 2 months so far...he is on his 8th...

hopefully it is a tooth..it's better getting them in early than late...

Yeah.. I don't know, his gum was red and there was a white spot under it at the top of the gum.. He's getting the wrong tooth though! lol... I'm not sure if it's just 'teething' or if he's cutting a tooth through, I'm not sure how that stuff works.. But it sure SEEMS like he's getting a tooth.. And I read that teething age is hereditary and my mom said I cut a tooth very early too, so I expected this. Not sure at what age but she said they were still counting my age in weeks..

And he seems to be in a lot of pain most of the day.. :( I sure HOPE!!! he doesn't go through this for months!! Yikes.

hylands teething tabs seemed to really help dd. some people swear they work, others say they see no difference. my ped said there are no real studies- just anecdotes. but since they're harmless, they're definitely worth trying.
