Folic Acid

What stores can I find it? About how much does it cost? Does it make you more fertile? Does Prenatal vitamins make you more fertile?

any store will have. it you prenatals will have it too.  walmart target your grocery store , drug store and its pretty cheap under 10.00 for 60 pills generic brand of course..  you should take it at least 2 momths before trying to conceive, at least thats what my dr says..  good luck

Yes, I would recommend that you take it in the form of a prenatal pill...you'll get the recommended dose of folic acid along with other vitamins/minerals that will be good for when you conceive/during pregnancy.  Folic Acid does not make you more fertile.  It will help reduce/prevent birth defects for baby so it is very important to take during pregnancy, especially early pregnancy.

I know this sounds kinda funny but My Doctor recomended I take 2 flinstone vitamins a day. They have folic Acid in them. They are pretty cheap and they tase good too!:) Good luck!

When I was pregnant with my daughter 2 years ago, I also took 2 flintstones a day.  Just the thought of having to swallow pills would make me sick.

Does prenatals higher hcg levels?Waiting till levels drop testing every week (m/c).Cant ttc till nov-dec.Want to start taking prenetals but don't want levels to stay the same and not drop?

Prenatals gets your uterus ready so when you do conceive.

My doctor had me start back on my prenatals once my hcg levels hit 1000 (after Methotrexate shot) that way she knew the shot had done it's job (was at 4500 at time of shot). have been testing my hcg levels weeklyand they  have continued to drop quickly and am testing one more time tomorrow, and should be down to 0.

checked levels today...they were at 15.5. so doc said I dont need anymore. (yeah!)I hate needles  :)
let me know how yours is going!

I hope you are feeling much better!  :)

My trip to Montana last week (Glacier National Park) and many many hikes with my son....has really helped pick me up out of my funk (along with stories and support from others here of course!)
and resumed my regular workout schedule which I've flaked off for more then a month with everything else going on, not to mention just feeling sh%&*65tty.

3 months still feels like a day and forever away...but look at the bright side.... we almost got one whole month out of the way!!! ~grins~
