I was just wondering how much everyone's babies are eating. My daughter is two weeks and is eating anywhere from 2-3 oz every 2-3 hours. I was breastfeedingBreast-feeding tips Breastfeeding Breastfeeding - resources and formula feeding. It seemed as if I would breastfeed then right after she would take a bottle, now I am just formula feeding. I think my milkBreast milk Breast milk jaundice Lactose intolerance Nipple discharge - abnormal supply got low. Yesterday I tried pumping and only got an oz where I was getting 3 oz. Plus she seemed to be gasy when I was doing both and yesterday she only had that oz of breastmilk and she seems to be a bit better. I formula fed both of my other children and am happy I made it this far breastfeedingBreast-feeding tips Breastfeeding Breastfeeding - resources this one. Anyway back to how many oz she eats, I was just curious cause my niece is 12 mo and has always had only 2 oz at every bottle.
Any feed back would be great. Thanks Ladies.
12 months and drinking only 2 oz from birth? That's starvation. Your daughter is right on track and is eating the perfectPerfect choice amount. You can't really go by what people tell you because every baby is different. Some may drink more and some may drink less but at 2 weeks 2-3 oz sounds accurate.
