Foul Smelling Urine

Jacob has been having green hard boogies since birth... I have to shoot saline up his nose and then suction it out. It seems to be getting worse so I took him to the dr Monday they said he had an infection put him on Augmentin. I gave him one dose 1/2 tsp. Then Tuesday morning he woke up and his urine has a foul smell to it, it smells like after you girth birth to a baby. Could it be the medicine or is it something else. I googled side effects of augmentin and it says nothing about foul odor.

It very well could be the medication. I know penicilin can do that.

most likely its the medicine. My son has done the same thing when he is on augmentin
