Geritol & Prenatals

If I've been taking prenatal vitamins, although I'm not pregnant yet, is it safe to stop taking them and start taking geritol tonic to become pregnant and do I have to be on my cycle to start taking it?

I also got pregnant the month I started taking Geritol Complete. This was after 15 months total of trying to conceive. So I believe in it!
But I agree---once you have ovulated and might be pregnant then switch to a prenatal vitamin since they are specifically made to fill the needs of a pregnancy.

Thank you both for the advice; my cycle is normally pretty regular, but as of right now it's 11 days late, both the hpt and the blood test came back neg, so that's why we decided to start on the geritol. Do you know if it matters whether or not I take the pill or the tonic?

you owuldnt think it would matter, as one is just the liquid form right? compare on the bottles at the store what the ingredents are...i bet they are the same.

I  started taken geritol complete by my self with out my husband, but now we are taken geritol tonic cause we were told that with would work faster, so we stared taken it yesterday. My cycles were a lil off two months ago but for the last two months they have been right on time, so wut i am asking is when is the best time to start taken geritol 14 days befor my cycle or after my cycle start? and is it tru that the women have to been on top to make a boy? and do we both have to *** at the same time to make a baby?

I starting taking Geritol after my last cycle several months ago, as instructed 3 times a day with meals.  My cycles were regular however, I had a lot of cloting & cramps during my cycle, this was not normal.  I continued to take for a couple months, still not pregnant.  I stop taking geritol, my husband and I have been trying to convieve for a 1 year or better.  What do you advise.
