Girl names/open forum...what do you think of this one??

Certainly this is not a pressing issue..but I know it can be kinda slow on here on the weekend, so I thought I would ask now....I found out I am having another girl, and as some of you may know I have been having an awful time coming up w/ a name that dh and I both love....I have found one I think I love, but dh just likes it, he's not in love w/ it...YET. I was wondering what you think of these names...which one you like best...If you hate them, please don't tell me, lol...it has already been hard enough!! :) JK, any thoughts are appreciated...if you love a girl name, let me know what you like, I am still open to suggestions!

First names: Makenna, Meredyn or Meredy, Jordana(this is my fav)

First middle(My dd has 2 middle names, so this gal will as well): Brianne, Rylyn, Avery,Ashlyn

second middle: Saige or spelled Sage...

My thought was: Jordana Rylyn Sage...I think I love this name....What do you think??

Makenna is unfortunatley getting very popular and a bit over used... that will depend on if youw ant a lot of her peers to have hte same name.  I really like Meredyn and Meredy... I've never heard of either but they are beautiful.  Jordana... I think I would have to hear it outloud... I may not be doing justice to it when I say it.  I like your middle names and I like Sage spelled traditionally  :)

just wanted to say that dh and i couldn't agree on a name. there was one that he loved and i was ok with. he preceded to call her by that name for the past several months, and i grew to like it. so... you may want to try the same technique to get him to love whichever you choose.

That is why I no longer want to use Makenna...I had that name all picked out and I hear it all th etime now and I don't want to use another popular name (MY dd name is Madelyn, and I hear it EVERYWHERE now!! )DH still likes it though...I havn't checked that post yet...I will go read it now...(PS-Jordana is pronouced jord-anna, basically Jordan w/ an a on the end, in case you wern't sure)

Tired-I think if I get him used to Jordana, he will grow to love it....that is what I am hoping for..

I really love Rylyn too, it is unique, but pretty sounding...I think I have made my choice...

I like jordana. That is very elegant. We are running into name issues. We were thinking about Wyatt for a girl. Very unusual but kind of cool. We were also thinking of Ramona (but I read all those books about Ramona the pest  when I was little so Im a little tainted) or Evie. I like some boys names for girls. I also like Rylyn too. Or how about Ryha? A woman here just named her little girl.

A family I know has a little girl named McKinley. I liked the Kinley part (actually one of my fave names) but all I could think about when they told me the name was Mt. McKinley! lol Now that they've named her that, though, I really like it. And I've never heard of another one! :)

I like your middle names! I love Brianne!!!!!!!! If we were having a dd she would have been Macey Brianne! :) I am not sure about Jordana. I keep saying it but I just don't know what I think. lol

avery is very cute.  i like rylyn, but it looks odd with 2 y's.  but that could be my eyes lol.  i thing your name is very cute you picked out.  im going to throw avery at dh but i know i will be rejected lol.

Thanks to all..Hearing from all has made the descion very clear to me...I want to name my daughter Jordana..I just love it and I have recieved pretty good feedback from most others I have bounced it off of...It is kinda neat because My first dd's name begins w/ M, like mine, and My next daughter's name will start w/ J, lust like my DH(jeremy)..Thank you all!

bops all the names i have ran by mil or some others (like dh) say oh no!  so i say go with what you want to name your baby.  unless they want to take the childbirth pain for you, they cant name her lol.  dh is coming home early!! end of august!! he will come back and get the hanger painted, they move, im so freakin excited i cant think straight!!

I get so much flack for naming my kids unusual names... my eldest is Katherine Decemberly... my second Khryscynda Angelique... and this baby will be Lilith Nadezhda...

I like the name you picked out Bops.  If you like it that's all that matters.  They eventually learn to spell it.  lol I know Khryscynda did.

My aunt and uncle didn't tell anyone the names of either of their dd's. (DD #1 they broke down and told me and my aunt's mom but that was it) They just didn't want to hear anybody's opinion of their name......because once you've name your baby who is seriously going to be rude enough to rain on your parade?! lol

My mom seriously ruined so many names for me!  In fact, so did my sister!  They would say stuff like "Bridget reminds me of a mean fat girl" (sis DOES have a story behind that but come on! I know lots of cute little nice Bridgets!)  It finally got to the point where I stopped telling them my ideas.  Still, my sister gets to pick a middle name off my list since I'm not using hers anymore.  But it's ok, I get to make the list before she gets to pick lol.

ya i just had dh tell me he went to elementary school with a mean boy named avery so that one is out lol.   we are looking at jordan,  bailey, and addison.   im becoming partial to addison because when my son was around 2  he would call kids he considered friends addy's lol.  i love that! he would stand at the back fence calling the little boys next door addy!! come play!!! haha.

I love the names you picked out. I think you're all set. I do have to say the my dd is Alexis Brianne. My kids all have the abv initials like their daddy. I like your idea of 1 like each of you. That is so great that your dh will be back so soon! I bet it will be so wonderful...honestly, I don't know how you do it...my Dh is gone to work from 7am to 5:30 pm and I can't wait for him to get home so I can hand off duties to him and I can take a break(I am usually dead on the couch by the time he gets home anyways, lol)..I can't imagine being w/o him for any long period of time...You must be one tough chick!lol...anyways, its great your hubby will be back soon! I really like the name Addison! I am a huge Grey's Anatomy fan, and one of the Dr.s on the show was named Addison, I think it so pretty and feminine..you could definately call her Addy for short..Too bad about Avery being shot down, I think that name is so cute too!!...I forgot it could be a boy's name too...I'm sure you both will find a great name once he gets home and you can put your heads together....I'm thinking I will call Jordana, Jori for short...I think it sounds cute...

i was a single mom for some time after my divorce, so to be alone isnt the worst. im just tired of doing all the chores lol.  my hips have started to ache at night so he has the new job when he gets home to rub them lol.

It this one was a girl instead of a boy she was going to be Bayleigh or Bailey.  We also liked Emma, Allison, Reagan, Riley, Noelle, and Jelannie.

I am never a fan of making the spelling of any name too tricked up. Just asking for that childs name to be mispelled their whole life.

Finally! We wern't on top of things for the longest time..I thought we would never think of a name and it all came to us in 1 day..I'm sure you and DH will be the same, once you get talking over it. I can't wait to hear what it is...My vote is for Addison, lol!! :)
