Girls Names....up for suggestions!

Hi All,

I am due Feb. 16th and know we are having another little girl.

Our dd's name is Kayla  and my dh and I are having a very difficult time thinking of 'the perfect' name for our arrival in '96 days'..(thanks to baby center for keeping track..lol)

Anyway...
I'm not even going to share ALL the names that we are thinking b/c I want your opinion..

my dds names are Riley, Michaela, and Peyton.  It took us my whole pregnancy each time to name them (picking out middle names and all).  the way we picked them out was by going by our last name (which is irish) and starting w/ irish girl names, and then going from there.  

i also like the name Chloe, but my dh would never agree to it!

I am having a girl on December 17th by c-section and her name is going to be Brooklynn Nichol. I wanted something different and unique.

I also LOVE Madison, Madeline, Mackenzie, Kimberlynn and Amberlynn. (We had alot of names that we loved and it was hard to chose just one)

I LOVE Rileigh (Rylee) as well...but my dh thinks it's a dogs name...but it is my #1.
Peyton is a new addition to our 'list' as well....

I also like Madison, but one of our friends already named their daughter Madison.

We are Irish as well and I have been on most of the sites for girls name. Our last name is one syllable...so the first name has to be at least 2 syllables.

What do you think of the name Ryann?

How about Kiera, Fiona, Ashlyn (Aisling), Brenna, Delaney, Maura, Mackenzie.
Every time I try to think about girl names it always changes. Like it just hasn't come to me yet, that perfect name. Or I like something and then BAM, it's in the top ten names. Like Emma. Such a pretty name but so popular now.

I've also been looking at different names we think we have one picked (he doesn't want to change it). I love the name Makenzie others were alyssa, cheyanne, peyton, brook, isabelle (giving you some that were suggested to me) alaura.

I would like to stick to an Irish name, but am not 'STUCK' to it...if I get that 'BAM'...with a non-Irish name that would be fine..

dude...  i tried so hard to get my dh to agree to Ryanne (that's how i was going to spell it) when we were pregnant w/ our second.  i love it!!!!!

I always loved Chloe, but that is my dh's niece so I'll never get to use it! I also liked Kinley, but dh hates it. We finally agreed on either Elsie (his great gma) or Macey, but had a boy so it didn't matter. My new big favorite for girls is Arabella and we'd call her Bella. Dh hates that too. *sigh* I hope I end up with a house full of boys, because we'll never agree on a girl's name!

well when I get PG and ifits a girl I am going to name her Kaelynn Michelle(prob wont work with your other DD's name though)...I also like Emma, Meadow, Ella.....my step daughters name is McKemma.....that is a very unusual name but a lot of people seem to like it...im undecided on it myself....

We had Zoe picked for the longest time, but I wasn't too sure, then we saw it on the top 100, so that was it.  I like the name River, had that picked for a middle with Zoe.  Or Rain.  I love the name Adelaide, my dh only liked it for a middle, so thats what we choose, but I really liked it, then we could call her Addy, so cute.

I have absolutely beautiful nieces name Ryann Marie, Rylee Erin, and Kaymaen Shae.  Love the names and all very Irish.  

We are due February 27th with our first baby - a girl - and right now we are calling her Fred because we can't agree on a name.  I want Kathryn because that was my grandmother's name - hubby wants Hayley (can't stand that - I've known too many kids in preschool with that name) so for now, her name is Fred.  We have been teasing our moms tho, that if we can't agree on a name, we will name her after the two of them - so her name would either be Vivian Viola, or Lucille Doris - no way on either - but its fun to tease

I love old fashion names or whatever is NOT on the top 10 list.  Emma was my faviorite girl name but right now I know about 12 of them.

My dd name is Eva - she is named after my grandmother.  I also liked Lila.

That's what I wanted to name DD!!! Eva...I LOVE, LOVE LOVE that name but DH hated it.  Isn't it simple yet so elegant?  Grr, those men!  I also like Ella but couldn't name DD b/c it's my cousin's name.  So we went with Ariella instead.  Every seems to love her name :)

I love the name Ariella - I never heard of it before so that makes me love it even more.  What do you call her for short?  My boyfriend and I did not agree on a girls name until after birth and we saw her.  We did not find out the sex so I did not put up a fight.  Then when I looked at her after everything I went through to have her I said - she must have an angel up there and her name is Eva.  He agreed but during pregnancy he hated it too.  Now we dont agree on Evie.  I like to call her that for fun and he gets mad. hahah My next dd will be Ella so that is funny.  Eva and Ella.

We don't shorten her name.  We call her Ariella every day.  We can't call her Ari b/c it's a guy's name and can't really call Ella b/c it's my cousin's name.  So Ariella it is.

Kaymaen is pronounced Kay - man - just like Cayman Islands - My grandmothers name was Kathryn Mae and they combined the names - so Kaymaen

We have one daughter named Taylor Elise...  we had a girls name picked for this one, but we are having a boy--  our girls name this time was Avery Scout...  (my husband loves the book "to kill a mocking bird"...  I at least got the scout down to the middle name!  but I love the name Avery for a girl...

I like Rihanna and you mention Ryann, they are close.  Also, what about Rayna?  Others on my list (DH won't let me have Rihanna) are Jillian, Sophia (I want Sophie, he wants Sophia - not sure if it will stay on the list though with how popular it is getting), Sydney.  I also like Aubrey, DH doesn't.  I still like Sarah and Samantha also.  We have a boy name picked already, but have no clue on girl names.
