Leaving for South America today, gone for about a week.

  Good luck to those TTC, CHLOE--HAVE THAT BABY BY THE TIME I GET BACK, wishing easy pregnancies for those pregnant, and just general good vibes for ALL my great friends here on the forum.

Well I am feeling a bit better today. Does anyone know what will help with leg cramps? I have been waking up out of a dead sleep with these.

If the cramps are in your lower legs, lay down with leg straight, and heel pushed straight out as far as you comfortably can, then slowly push your foot down as far as you comfortably can as if you were putting your foot down to walk.

tres-I agree with the rpevious post about thsoe leg cramps! flex your foot when you feel one coming on and most of the time you can at least relieve it a bit before it really tenses up. I have woken too with cramps in my leg so bad I cried out. My Dh thought I was in labor or something!! And when I get them at night, my leg muscle feels tight or bruised in the morning when I walk on it. aahhh..the pleasures of pregnancy! Isn't it funky though? Who would have thought being pregnant woudl affect your leg muscles at night????

Hello,
Liquid calcium works great for leg cramps. Many women that do home delivery take it for leg cramps. If you choose to take it make sure you take it at night before you go to bed. It can make you sleepy. If you want more instructions email me. roehill@tek-web.com . Helen
