Self aborting is very dangerous. The "suction thing" is done by a doctor only. It's a form of abortion that needs to be done carefully. You can overdose yourself by just taking medicines without a doctor guidance. You might not get a super heavy bleed. Some women don't. Others bleed out and need blood transfusions. However they need to make sure you actually pass all the tissue, otherwise you risk infection and possibly loss of fertility. While there you can also discuss birth control options. You need to make sure you practice safe sex at all times. Abortion isn't a method of birth control and should never be treated as such.

Not only could you lose fertility if you do get an infection in your uterus, you can die. Infections are EXTREMELY dangerous, which why even after giving birth the doctors are very careful about making sure NOTHING is left in the uterus of the woman.

Self abortion is not only dangerous it's flat out stupid. If you don't know the side effects of the medication, the fact that the medication may or may not work and then risking infections, infertility and only Lord knows what else...just not a smart move.
