THE MOMMY TEST
>I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter. She picked up
>something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I
>took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that.
>"Why?" my daughter asked.
>"Because it's been laying outside, you don't know where it's
>been, it's dirty and probably has germs" I replied.
>At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration
>and asked, "Wow! How do you know all this stuff?"
>"Uh," ......I was thinking quickly,   "All moms know this stuff. It's
>on the Mommy Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a
>Mommy."
>We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was
>evidently pondering this new information.
>"OH...I get it!" she beamed, "So if you don't pass the test you
>have to be the daddy."
>"Exactly" I replied back with a big smile on my face and joy in my
>heart.

My shower is Sunday and I'm having a piece of cake! I have been so good. I never cheat. I want to, but I can't bring myself to do it. I'm curious to see what the cake does to my levels. I already told dh, I want to go to the Chinese Buffet as soon as we get home from the hospital!

Eat a big piece of cake!! If your gonna get caught it might as well be worth it...lol..
No just go for a short walk after  I was told that can burn it off - I didnt eat a whole piece but I did cheat and have a fork or two.....Spagetti is what caught me

I'll give you guys a complete run down of what I have and what the numbers are. I'm so gonna enjoy that cake!

I had a student and her doctor said just drink lots of water when you cheat.

you may be suprised what your numbers are afterwards. They may be fine. I know at my son's B day party I ate a big peice with homemade icecream and 1 hour afterwards it was 116. Go figure!

Sugars have been good. Still running between 93-103 in the morning, but dr. says that's fine for him. I pretty much eat the same things all the time because I know they are safe. But occasionally I'll venture out and when I test myself I'm okay. But some days are frustrating. They had a cake at work and I couldn't have any. Stuff like that bugs me, but only 6 weeks left (maybe less?)so I'll survive. Thanks for asking.
