Ok girls, I need help.
I am 28 wks pg. and have a terrible pain in my left groinGroin lump Groin pain Groin stretch Jock itch Swollen lymph nodes in the groin. It kills me to walk. It feels like someone has a hold of something down there and is twisting and pulling. I talked to my dr about it and he is not too concerned but I have a job that I am on my feet at least 8 hours a day.
Has anyone experienced this and if so what did you do?
Oh, sweetie, I feel your pain! I am 36 weeks now and I've had that sort of pain for some time now. I am carrying VERY low, so it feels like I have pulled muscles in my pelvisCancer - renal pelvis or ureter Nerve supply to the pelvis Pelvic laparoscopy Pelvis x-ray and upper legs all the time - some days it's unbearable. I've actually learned that keeping the muscles active helps. The doctor said that there is not too much you can do to aleviate it, however, not lying in one position for too long definitely helps. It hurts me the most at night - when I'm in bed and not using the muscles.
I suggest warm - NOT HOT - compresses. I have a thin heating pad that warms in the microwave that I put just on the muscles that hurt. Just until they loosen up. Then have your significant other, a close friend, or even splurge on a therapist to massage the area for you. I have went for a total of 7 pre-natal massages throughout my pregnancy and it's done wonders! Plus, my husband is great at massaging the tightened muscles. Let me know if the heatBabies and heat rashes Heat emergencies Heat rash Infant heat rash Tenosynovitis, mild activity, and massaging helps.
