Growing slowed down at 23 weeks

Growing slowed down at 23 weeks

Has everyone noticed a slow down in your growth at this point.  At 20 weeks I felt like I took a huge growth spurt, but now I feel about the same as then.  I have even had people telling me again that I don't look very big when two weeks ago everyone I worked with commented on how I had blossomed.  Is it normal to slow down some?  I feel stronger movements, so I am sure the baby is growing, but I am just nervous.

I think we grow at different rates at different times. I'm still growing and feeling uncomfortable with how high up my uterus is getting in my 23rd week but my weight gain has been slow and steady. 13 pounds so far, which isn't bad. I think around 20 weeks I had a major growth spurt also, so I suppose compared to that it has slowed. I don't think it's anything to be concerned about.

I think at 20 weeks we do have a huge spurt at 20 weeks.  The half way point seems to be when we finally start showing the most.  I'm 22w 3d and notice that just in the last few weeks I've looked like I swallowed a basketball already.

I'm 22 weeks, 1 day and just popped out these past couple of days. Seems like lots of people have noticed besides me and DH. Still have only gained 2 pounds though. Not looking forward to the lovely doctor lecture I'll get at my appointment next week about gaining! GRRRR....I eat non stop! What's a girl to do! :)

Hi.. Listen, I'm 38 weeks and I've heard it ALL from people. They are just so free to give you there opinion and compare you to there sister or cousin ect.  When I was 7 months, my bf's family and my family all told me I was so small. I heard this so much that I started to worry and started to seriously question if she was ok.  Then at my shower, 35 weeks, all I heard was, "your so big, you could be having twins!".  It really really gets annoying but you know, I learned not to listen to anyone anymore. lol This is my first so I did listen at first but as of now, I'm done.  If I have another child one day, I wont pay mind to anyone but my doctors.  Even in the beginning, everyone tried to figure out her sex by the way I was growing.  Thats total bs. You cant tell any other way other than u/s or blood work. So please, unless your dr is telling you you are small, then you really shouldnt stress out about what people tell you. They dont realized that after a while, you start to believe it and worry.
Good luck and your fine :)

I agree with newbie.......my dh's family is really pissing me off. First, I'm not eating, then I'm not eating enough, then it's "are you sure you are eating healthy enough" and now it's "do you ever stop eating" AHHHHHHHH They really get on my nerves! I decided screw it....I've had 6 u/s's now (due to cysts) and that baby is just fine and he is moving more and more so if he's fine...I'm fine. Big or not! :)

I'm still not very big however the baby now weighs 1lb 2ounces so he is above schedule.  I usually just pop out but not yet.  people that don;t know me don't even realize I'm pregnant..  I think they think I'm just heavy...

It seems as if I have been steady growing since I got my BFP! I am 18w4d and people say that I may be having twins. NO, I AM NOT!! I have only gained about 13 pounds, which I think is good for the half way mark. I hate being compared to everyone else's pregnancy. I am only 5 ' 2", so I look bigger than a taller person.
