H1N1

my little guy has been sick the last 4 days...took to the ER today and he has H1N1...he got the first vaccine Nov. 10th. I thought it was supposed to prevent it.

It takes 4 to 6 weeks for the immune system to develop full protection against H1N1 after getting the vaccine, and depending on how young your son was, he might also have needed two vaccinations a couple of weeks apart.
