My levels went down to 0 around a week to a week in a half. I bled for one week. I am sure it is different for every womenWomen's way. As I suggested in the post below, visit www.ectopicEctopic pregnancy.org. It took around 4 in a half weeks to start. I did not have clots after my surgery but I did bleed a little for a week.
It depends on how high your hcg was to begin with. Mine was over 5000 when I had methotrexate, so it took 5 weeks to hit 0. And it's common for the levels to initially rise before declining.
thx, mslkpage, i started to ask you but didn't want to be a pest. I go back next wed. but tuesday past is was 830 it went down some.I just keep bleeding bad with a lot of smalls clots passing( sry all for the graphics)
angelblessed, i also got the methotrexate shot on May 2nd and when i got the shot my levels were at 780. that friday i went back and they were at 100. i went in this past tuesday and they were at 70. so my doctor expects them to be at 0 either this visit on Monday or the folowing visit i have. but i was also wondering about the period question...how long does it usually take to get your normal cycle back? and as for the blood clots ive been bleeding on and off since i got the shot and i have passed many small blood clots, my doctor said thats perfectly normal. well actually she told me i would probably pass some larger clots but ive only had one of them so far...
