HCG Levels Post Partum

I am 11 weeks PP...if I took a pregnancy test would it still read positive even if I'm not pregnant??

I just looked it up and it said that it would take about 10-12 weeks post partum to get all the hcg out. Geeze, you are right there. Hmmm, I guess at this point you would need to get a blood test 48hrs a part to see if the numbers rise.

It is very possible you are pregnant. My father and uncle are only 10 mths apart. If your levels are still high enough at 11 weeks I would go see an ob doc and check it out. Let us know how it goes!
