HCG Levels

I had my last menstrual period on 10/12/03.  I had my first blood test on 11/13/03 with <2 hcg level.  I had another test 11/17, 11/19, 11/21, & 11/24 with results of 10, 34, 140, & 534.  I am a little concerned that this level is too low for as far along as I should be.  I am having another test tomorrow and then another on 12/1/03.  I have not gotten many answers from the doctor and was hoping someone else has gone through the same.  Please advise.

I was always told that the actual number isnt the main factor--its that the numbers are doubling within a 48-72 hour period which it looks like your are--I dont see any problem with your set of numbers at this point---best of luck!!!!

your numbers are looking good, don't worry, I just had a m/c and my numbers were not doubling.  Maybe it is twins.  That would be a great thing.  Hope all is well and best of luck.

Hi,  My last period was 10\17\03 with a normal cycle being 35 days.  I believe I ovulated somewhere between 11\9- 11\11.  I had a quantitative hcg drawn yesterday 11\25.  The level was only 80.  My doctor seemed a little concerned so I have to repeat it on Friday 11\28 to see if the value doubled.  So I would imagine I was about 15 days post ovulation at the time of the test.  Does this level sound normal?

Thanks to everyone that answered.  I had another test today and the results came back with a level of 1664.  The doctor seems to think everything is ok but he has scheduled me to have an ultrasound on Monday.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything is fine.
