Hi all, I am a very concerned boyfriend looking for some help.
My girlfriend (34) had her LMP on 6/17, we were under the assumption that she is lunar and fairly regularRegular insulin.
7/20 - A posisitve EPT
7/24 - A negative EPT
7/25 - Blood drawn with an HCG of 7. (Yes, just 7)
7/26 to 7/28 - Some cramping and bleeding similar to a normalNormal saline flushmensesAmenorrhea - primary Menstruation - absent.
8/1- A blood draw with an HCG of 56 (Negative ultrasound)
8/4- Blood draw and an HCG of 262 (Still negative ultrasound)
I understand that you need to have an HCG of 2000+ to see anything on an ultrasound.
As you can see, we are very confused, they want her to come back on 8/10. I have been on the net for a good 12 hours researching what the heck is going on and am obviously very concerned for her. And waiting until the tenth is causing me a great amount of consternation.
Well, she must have had a chemical pregnancy and miscarried and then ovulated shortly after and is pregnant again with a new pregnancy. This happened to me. I will give you my dates and hcg as I remember them. Positive pregnancy test 11/14. Blood test on 11/15 was only 17. 11/16 bleeding, went to ER, hcg level 7, miscarriage. Hcg level 11/30 of 0. 12/8, positive pregnancy test. Back in for blood test 12/10, hcg level 253. I got pregnant again. I ovulated 12 days after my miscarriage. Sounds like you have congrats in order! Good luck.
I cannot thank you enough for your story. A littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys optimism is what we are looking for right now. Thank you so much. Not going to get our hopes up too high, but it's good to see someone else has gone through the same confusing thing.
