HCG level

by hopeinhim, Mar 03, 2003 12:00AM
hi, im very new in this, i have found this web site today..
i was diagnosed with the partial molar pregnancy after I had d&c on 3.01.2003 since then I have monthly blood test, my HCG level dropped to 5 within 4 weeks and today I found out that my  HCG is -2. I just want to ask if anyone could help me if -2 is normal or not. Please, I would really appreciate your help. God bless you all.

That's a first for me.  You can't have (i believe) a level of minus 2.  The least amount of HCG you can have in your body is none, which would be 0.  Call your doctor and ask for the test to be clarified for you.

Perhaps the report placed a dash (-) before a level of 2, leading someone to think the result was minus 2.
