HCG levels, Post-BC, and Conception

I have an issue that has made itself a very detrimental part of my life. I believe getting your opinion on this would help me cope with the situation.

The Facts:

1) My girlfriend is pregnant.
2) First day of last menstrual period: 4/27/07 (also the day she stopped birth control)
3) This cycle was her first cycle on the patch, previous to that she had been on the pill.
4) We were very sexually active from 4/27-4/12.
5) She was with someone else, here forth referred to as "him", from 5/17-5/22 (4 times).
6) She was with me again from 4/23-4/26.
7) Her HCG level was 333.23 on 6/4/07.
8) The pictures from her first ultrasound (sometime in June), one of those intravaginal deals, say that the G.A. was 6 weeks 5 days, which corresponds to 5/9/07. I was under the impression that these machines read gestational age, not the actual age of the fetus. My confusion exists in the fact that the doctor knew the day of her LMP therefore I do not see the reason the machine would give the aforementioned date if it was infact estimating gestational age.

9) The baby is a male.
10) When not on birth control, her cycle is usually 38 days.

My thoughts:

1) I have read that a girl is more likely to have a boy if she climaxes during intercourse. This has only been the case when she was with me.

2) I have read that fighter pilots are less likely to have males because pulling G's does something to the male sperm cells. He is a fighter pilot. He also had cancer and the doctors said he may never be fertile again. He is fertile again but on the low end of the spectrum

3) Through various research I was under the impression that HCG levels started fairly low (5 or so) and doubled every 2-3 days. I also am of the understanding that HCG levels begin to double at implantation, which occurs 8-10 days after ovulation.

4) I have read that in some cases woman can ovulate quicker than normal after getting off of birth control. My theory is that hormonal BC methods regulate the cycle to prevent pregnancy by using natural hormones estrogen and proestrogen. Estrogen preps "the area" for implanatation. When the body senses that "the area" is ready, a woman ovulates. After a woman stops BC, especially the patch sense it puts 60% more estrogen into your blood, it is my theory that a woman may be more quickly primed for ovulation...Just my thoughts, I'll let you all opine.

5) I know it will come down to this eventually so please let me know if this will be a satisfactory method. They are both O- blood types. I understand that two O-'s can only produce an O-. I am not O-. I understand that a mother contributes her type and her RH factor (+/-) and the father can give his type or his recessive type and his RH factor or his recessive RH factor. So the theory is that if the baby is O-, it could be mine or his, but if the baby is anything else, it is definetely mine.

This is the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. I really really really want this baby to be mine, and I really really really want to start a family with this girl. Any information you can provide me as far as the likelihood of me being the father would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Rather than to go over over detail (that are not all facts by the way) i would just like to say take thought # 3 and let it go! Wait another 3 months and get a DNA test...that will answer all your questions!

You are way overthinking this.  The dates are close, and only a DNA test will settle the issue.
