HCG levels please help with any input..

Hi everyone maybe a few of you read my post on implantation bleeding...well I took a HPT this morning and it turn positive right away...needless to say I was extremly happy...told husband we were going to have a november baby.  I called doctor and scheduled to get bloodwork...after that I went to the bathroom and all of a sudden I started bleeding red...you can imagine my disappointment.  I went in for my blood work and talk to the doctor.  He said that since we had 5 matured follicles that maybe more than one tried to implant and maybe one of them didnt make it hense the bleeding.  So they called me with my HCG levels and they say they are great 1662, but I cant seem to stop worrying...has someone else gone through this?

My friend did.  She was pregnant with twins, miscarried one, the other is now a little over 3 years old and extremely healthy.  Congrats!!!!

I haven't had a similar experience, but the HCG levels do sound very good.  My HCG level was only 69 when I found out I was pregnanct and now I am 34 weeks along, so yours sound really excellent.  Try to relax, especially if your doc is not alarmed.

I'm not sure how far along you are. But 1662 sounds good, with my first pregnancy at 5 weeks my HCG was only 69. I have also heard some women will have bleeding or spotting in early pregnancy and everything turns out fine or like your doctor said one might not have attached. I know it's easier said then done, but try not to stress it isn't good for you or the baby.

your level is consistant with an early 5 week pregnancy. The important thing now is that your levels triple in 3 days from now. If you are having any spotting you need to be taking pregesterone. Six months ago I had same but misscarried. I am now 8 weeks pregnant and my numbers tripled very early on. Good luck and don't worry too much.

Your levels sound great!!!  CONGRATS!  I am 4 wks/5d and mine was 1753 this morning!  Sounds like you are just perfect!  Keep us posted!

thank you...I am taking 300mg of prometrium a day...that kinda gives me peace of mind.

I feel better today more optimistic...bleeding has kinda slowed down.

HCG levels should double every 48-72 hours, not triple.  I didn't want her to freak out if they didn't triple.
