HCG levels went up but didn’t double at 6 weeks and lightly spotting! Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by Kat0513, May 10, 2007 12:00AM
My sister is 6 weeks pregnant, spotting light pink (not a lot) and had her HCG levels checked on Monday and Wednesday.  The doctor informed her on Wednesday that her levels went up but did not double. I'm not sure what her levels were.  Has anyone had a positive outcome and/or similar experiences that I can share with her?
Thank you in advance : )

After a certain level, the numbers do not double in 48 hours and aren't expected to.  (I think it's 9600, but can't remember for sure.)
