HCL RISE, DOWN AND RISE AGAIN

i found out i was pregnant on 13/10/11 and did another test on 14/10/11. The result is the same and i was told it was early pregnancy. 16/10/11 i start to have brownish/ feel cramp and i was so scare and went to hospital to do a check up. my hcl level was 177 that day. on 17/10/11 i start to bleed and i have to go see doc again. this time round my hcl level drop to 103. i was told that i have miscarriage and i was so upset. the doc ask me to go another appt on 24/10/11. i did another blood test that dayand my hcl level up to 128 and the doc was totally blur and he say it is not miscarriage but he is very hard to explain about this issue. they suspect is ecoptic pregnancy... my boyfriend and i are so confused. tml which is 28/10/11 i got to go back and see doc to do another blood test.. pls pray for me everything is fine.. pls... both of us really want to have a baby so much.. been trying for 2yrs 6 mth already... pls.. give us a good news.. anyone can advise me what to do ?

Yes, I can understand your confusion. After an initial rise, the blood HCG levels do fall, and then rise again. If you have a 6-7 weeks pregnancy, then the levels are pretty low. You can go for a transvaginal ultrasound at 7-8 weeks pregnancy to see if there is a normal pregnancy or ectopic. Meanwhile repeat another blood HCG level after 4-5 days to see if it rising or falling. Consult a gynecologist and follow –up as advised. Take care!
