HELP!!!! 9 week old son.. Eats 8oz, wont sleep

My son is 9 weeks old and is 12 lbs.. He just started to sleep 2 hours... My only concern is.... that in the last week, he has been wanting  about 8oz if not more....falls asleep while drinking... then 1hr 35min or max 2 hours... wakes up and wants another 8oz.. He comes of like I never feed him... and It takes 15min to get a burp from him..  I know you shouldnt compare babies but my friends who had their child.. days within mine.. eats 7oz and sleeps 4-5 hours... and my other one he drinks 4-5oz and sleeps 3-4hours... He is on soy formula with iron.  I need advice

The health nurses arent any help and I cant see my doctor until December.. and Id just like a better understanding.. or should I be worried?? Do I just have a baby who LOVES eating.. and not sleeping.. He only falls asleep if he is being fed and always wants to be be fed.. during the day he will lay on his back and tummy for like 2 hours.. but other then that.. he always wants food... then sleeps.. maybe.. not usually... 2 hours and then wants another 8oz...

ALSO....I've tried feeding him and then rocking him to sleep, but he wakes up sooner.. and when he wakes up.. I try and play with him and keep him busy before feeding him again but he cries NON-STOP for the bottle.. and if i take it for a second he cries.. he acts like he is starving....

I think 8 oz is too much for 9 weeks old baby. He may be uncomfortable because he is overeating. Try feeding him 4 oz at a time, if he is still acting like he is hungry offer him a pacifier. Also elevate his head when sleeping. My son was the same. He later was diagnosed with Acid Reflux.  We elevated his mattress, but it did not help. Then I put pillow under his head, now he is sleeping 7-8 hours at night. Good luck.

Sounds like my son but I have know idea if it is 8 oz he is getting I'm breastfeeding. He not like that everyday though. I feel he is seriously at my boob all day and when I put him down he complains.
