HELP!!! Pregnant with Shingles

by lilia, Aug 27, 2007 07:59AM
HELLO Ladies,

I am very worried about the situation. I am 6 wks prg and this morning found that I have shingles. I had chicken pox when I was a child and time to time develop shingles/blister on my lower back area. I talk to my MD who stated that since I am immuned to chicken pox it is safe for me and the baby but contages for people around me. However, my husbabd and my whole family are always around me during 20 years sinse I got it and no one ever got sick. Any comments? Thank you.

It is very contagious only if they touch it, or something that you have touched were you are broken out. Best of luck.
