HOw long did it take to get period after D

I miscarried, I had a D&C this past Friday, so now I have to wait one cycle before trying again. How long does it usually take? My Dr. said 4-8 weeks. Thats really long for 8 weeks....

I had a D&C on 3/1 and I had my period about 5 wks later. I also had a friend that had one right at 4 wks. So I guess it depends and how far along you were and just your own body adjusting to not being pg. Sorry to hear abut your lose. May God comfort you at this time.

I had a D&C on Sept. 15 and have never gotten another period.  On Monday the doctor put me on provera to try and make me have AF.

I had a D&C in Sep and ovulated two weeks later and got period 4 weeks later exactly. I was glad to see it so quickly, given the fact that I was 16 weeks when I miscarried and a little worried that it might take longer for AF to return since I was so far along.

I had 2 miscarriages this year, first one in January, d&c on 13 Jan and AF came on 14 Feb.  Second one last month, d&c on 18 Oct and AF just arrived today 16 Nov.  So for me, its about 4 to 4.5 weeks after d&c.  Take Care!

Hey I had a D&C do to a miscarriage on Sept.15 and the doc. told me 4 to 8 weeks ill have a period and I havent recieved one...but im not sure but I started to lightly bleed on Nov. 4 for about 4 days...hope this kinda helps...sorry if to much info.
