Had a pregnancy blood test....

Had a pregnancy blood test....

....and it's official-- I'm pregnant! I am happ yand so worried because of my miscarriage in November. I am 14 days past ovulation and my number was 48....which she seemed to think was low and wants me to come in again on Wed, which makes me want to throw up with worry. However, I looked online and 48 was the exact AVERAGE for 14 DPO so that made me feel better. Say a prayer for me!

Congrats and just remember you could have ovulated a few days later than expected which would make the numbers a bit lower.........ENJOY!!!!!!

Congrats!!! That is wonderful. And if it makes you feel better, at 14 dpo, my hcg number was 26 and I am now almost 22 wks pg. Sounds like you are off to a fine start. Best of luck to you.

Congratulations! I guess that we miscarried at the same month, last November. I am just thinking that we should try our luck again after I'm done with this period. And there you are, have already gotten pregnant. It is such an encouragement for us.

Here is my advice. Listen to your heart, your own instinct. Don't let the dr's number scares you and drag you down at any time. It is your baby. And every baby develops at its own pace. When it comes to a human embryo, it is more of art than science. I learned that in a hard way, after my last m/c. And I would alway wonder, for the rest of my life, if I knew that earlier, I would have kept that pregnancy.

Good luck and a lot of baby dust coming to you.

Congrats!  That's wonderful news.  Please, please...don't get sucked into the numbers game.  I hate so much to see women who are initally thrilled, have fear and uncertainty instilled into them by numbers that seem a "little" low, then they have to come in for more checks, ultrasounds, progesterone levels, etc-often unnecessary and may lead to more testing and fear.

Congrats again, and enjoy your pregnancy!

THAT IS SUCH GREAT NEWS!!!!!  Try and not worry.. although everyone that has had trouble in the past knows that's NOT possible.  So try and take a breath and realize "ok, the hard part is over.. now I just have to sit and let this baby grow"  Nothing you do, can change the outcome.  Once I was finally pregnant, I quit thinking about it and said well, I'll get excited at 12 weeks.  I'm 20 weeks now!  My numbers were low in the beginning too, but were fine by the end of the week.  Once you get to an "all clear" point.  sit back and let the baby just grow.

God Bless, and good luck!  OXOXO momttc

I wouldn't concentrate on what number he gave you but concentrate on if the numbers double.  Good luck and congratulations!

I am due in late Sept or early Oct! My next hcg test is tomorrow so I would like the numbers to be even better than they have to be just so I can relax a little. i am excited, though. And optimistic--- since I have two healthy kids and that mc I had seemed to be a fluke.
