Hair loss

Hi everyone,

I have not been on in a LONG time.  My son Aiden is 4 Months old now and is doing well.

I have a quick question.  I know your hair gets thicker throughout pregnancy and it starts to fall out after you have the baby.....my hair just started to fall out 4 months later.  I am not too sure if it's because I get it highlighted or if its because I am post partum.  Everytime I shower I am shedding and and most definately when I brush it. It just seems to be everywhere as well!

My friends say that their hair started to fall out right after...mine never did until now.  Should I be concerned that it may be something else?

Nope, that is about right. With Jonathan it started right after and kept on falling out for nearly a year. With Tristan it started slower and at about 3 months I started losing clumps of it at a time. Fortunately I have a pretty thick mop of hair down to my tushie. so it is hard to tell (other than it is everywhere in my house!)

My hair is still falling out too and my son is 6 months old.  I also dye my hair.

My baby is 7 months old and i started "shedding" about 4 months ago it is now starting to sloww down.
