Happy Halloween/Open forum

Hey everyone! Just wanted to wish you all a Happy Halloween and see what everyone's kiddos are dressing up as tonight. My son is going as batman, and its tooo cute! feel free to use as an open forum as well.

today is edward's first halloween! he is almost 10 months old and is a tiger! haha. he looks sooooo cute in his little costume. i dropped him off dressed up at daycare this morning b/c they will be having a little party and tonight, i will take him around trick or treating just for a little bit with my 6 yr old cousin. too fun!

Kennedy will be a butterfly princess. She wanted to be Elmo, but we couldnt find her size. She does have the Elmo bucket tho and that makes it all worth while to her =) We are going to a party at our church tonight. I am not a big fan of trick or treating.

I am so excited to go trick-or-treating tonight with the kiddos.  I always feel like a kid again even if I don't get to carry around a bag to collect the candy.

My stepson is almost 6 and he is going to be a fire fighter (just like his daddy).  I really hate the trick or treating myself.  It is a shame there isnt anything better for them to do on halloween.  I hide most of the candy because I dont like him eating so much.  The only person in our neighboorhood that makes tbe trick or treating worth it is the postmaster, instead of candy he puts his grill on the porch and fixes all the kids hotdogs.  Which is pretty nice, too bad more people cant come up with something like that to do.

my girls are going as a princess (even though she thinks she's going as the queen of the world!) and tinkerbell.  and our baby girl is a flower... sooo cute!  its kind of bittersweet though...  this is their first time going trick or treating (went to carnivals before) and my husband is out of town for work.  so my inlaws are coming over to go with us.  but i guess we'll save him some candy!!!

My oldest is going as a Hanson Brother from the movie Slap Shot and my 3 yr old is a transformer--Halloween isn't even done yet and they are already talking about next years costumes---oh ho wthey grow and get ideas.

Our Trick or Treat was Saturday and Max was a penguin!  Our dogs dressed up too! Nelson was Elvis and Ruby was a fairy godmother! There's pics on my myspace:

Happy Halloween everyone!  My girls are going as a duck and a little purple monster.  We had a parade and party at their school this morning - that was a lot of fun.  I left them for lunch and nap time, then I'll pick them up again for trick or treating with Daddy.

Such a fun day!  I hope everyone has fun!

Brody is a little peapod and he looks so darn cute in his costume! He hates it though, so I'm sure he'll only be in it long enough for some pictures. In the pictures, he will most likely be frowning or screaming (:

Oldest (almost 16) is taking her two youngest sisters who are 10 and 8. She's not dressing up for the first time. 10 year old is a pageant queen and 8 year old is a slumber party princess. She will have a green facial mask, curlers in her hair, robe, slippers and teddy bear. My 14 year old is an 80's girl...boy, brings back memories! She is going with her friends.

I will definitely take pics and post them! I'm camera happy.

This is so fun!!  My 13 months old DD will be a scholar (LOL)...since she loves "reading" books, I bought her a little graduation cap and made her a gown.  She looks cute in it but hates the cap :(  I hope she keeps it on just for the pix at least.  As I was driving home from work, I saw two boys dressed as skunks.  They looked soooo cute!  Kids were asking me who am I dressed as today at work (I work in a school as a speech therapist).  I told them I'm dressed up as a pregnant teacher.  I don't think they were happy with the answer :)))

I saw a little approximately 3 year old boy dressed up as a boxer. He had the robe, boxing gloves and a black eye painted on. Looked like a little Rocky Balboa. He looked so cute! His little sister who was about one was a care bear. Her little face was poking out of the bear costume. Adorable!

its really nice to see a "happy" post and share our stories of our kids and their excitment. I know i was guilty yesterday of only checking on post post. Thanks ladies for your stories!    *feeling guilt*

James went to pre school as a tiger .. "roar!!!". I haven't got an outfit for Sam, I'm not really a fan of trick or treat and niether James or Sam really understand so I don't bother going out but I do get goodies in for the little ones in the street who come to our door, some of them are so cute!

I got sucked in to taking Kennedy trick or treating anyways. we took my nephew out and those two walked door to door while i stayed in the car and followed. It was so funny, we where at a house and you could clearly see the man was coming to the door ( in a wheel chair at that) and Kennedys yellin "open the door!" over and over. I had to sink in my seat of embaressment. She did really good and Said "trick or treat" and "thank you" at every house. She was ready to go to the next right away. I knew she had alot of candy when she so willingly volunteered to give me some. =) The only problem we had was her being scared at the funeral home with the monster and the music, shes still talking about it!
It was great and i am very gald she was able to experiance this as she is not so cooperative when it comes to things like this. Anxious to hear about everyone else's night =)
