Has anybody had High HCG levels which had risen very slowly?

Hi there,

I'm looking for outcomes from women who may have had extremely High HCG levels in the early stages of their pregnancy.

I am approximately 3 weeks (but still unsure), and had only found out i was pregnant due to a test done by my doctor on Mon 28th Feb 2011.  Here are the results out of the 3 blood tests that I have had in the last 5 days:

Mon 28th Feb - HCG levels 12,313
Tue 1st Mar - HCG levels 13,896
Thu 3rd Mar - HCG levels 14,387

I have also had brown spotting for the last 10 days and suffer from PCOS.  My doctor couldn't provide further advice as to what could be currently happening and with that said, had advised that it would be better to seek further advice and instruction from my specialist (Gyno).

I have read up on alot of stories regarding womens HCG levels & M/C, however have found that every women is different and so for the moment am staying positive until i see my Gyno on Monday 7th Mar.

Your stories would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, levels that have only gone up a couple of hundred that should have doubled is a grim sign. Even if they slightly doubled, that would be good. Let us know what your Gyno says.

Yes your right and i'm prepared for a M/C.  My hope has dropped significantly.  I still however have symptoms and in addition, today my nipples have started on me.  Hmmm...

mine did not start out as high as yours, but with both of my normal pregnancies, my increases looked just like yours.  only a u/s will be able to tell. good luck to you.
