Has anyone missed a period after removing copper iud?

I got my iud removed on may 7 and my period was due the 10th. Still not bleeding and I feel like I should be with all the cramps and overall not feeling good. Anyone else have a similar story?

I had problems with my copper IUD and had it removed.  What I remember most as a problem was having ultra-heavy periods when it was in.  I can't tell you if I missed a period or not when it was taken out (too long ago now to remember), but I can certainly vouch for a copper IUD causing problems.

Thank you!!!!  I had mine removed exactly 4 wks ago, and now I'm 4 days late.  VERY unusual for me.  My husband and I used a condom everytime we've been together, and I have taken 2 preg tests which both came back negative.  I can't find much of anything on how removal of the copper IUD affects periods, so I'm very curious to find out what you've heard.

Same thing with me. I had my paragard removed a few weeks ago, and my period is late. I have all the symptoms of pms, and nothing. Is this normal?

OMG, i'm totally freaking out. I had my paragard removed last monday on the 1st of this month. A week later still no period!!! I'm so scared not ready for another kid right now. My husband thinks i'm freaking out. I requested for the removal  after 1.8 years, due to heavying bleeding every month. My husband and i had intercourse the night before the removal. Could it be possible to be pregnant? Help please!
