Ugh..I've also got a super gassy baby and have tried just about every formula (supplement my breastfeeding), 'colic remedy' and bottle out there. I have yet to find the 'one'. I read a lot on formula on I believe Dr. Sears' website. He seems to believe alot of that is marketing (ex. mom's breastmilk is full of lactose, and formulas may substitute corn syrup for it-yikes). I wish they could come up w/ something to help these gassy babies- it's frustrating and you feel helpless to relieve their cramping. The best thing is still just lots of knee pushing (like the bicycle), etc. I thought of trying Beano???

I use the the one for gassy/fussy babies, it works GREAT!!! It is in the dark purple can. It took about 3 days for it to work but I believe it really does. The only down fall is that it makes her gas smell awful! it is by enfimal. She used to have a really hard time burping and now after a few pats on the back she is done. I love it

My friends use Enfamil Gentlease LIPIL.  It is designed for babies with fussiness or gas, unlike the LactoFree LIPIL that is designed for babies that have a problem with lactose.  But the love the Gentlease and there baby does not have a problem with fussiness or gas now.  If you go to the enfamil website you can sign up and they will send you checks and free samples in the mail.  I havent even had my baby yet and Ive gotten 3-12oz cans and a box of the individual formula packets.

I have briefly read some of your previous posts but haven't had time to read all of the responses.  Coming from experience (4 months of miserable screaming baby...)  Do you think it might be possible at all that your baby has acid reflux?  There are several symptoms to look for (doesn't always mean spitting up...could be "silent reflux")

Like I said, I am not sure of your complete situation, but we wasted four months of our DD's life not knowing what was wrong with her and once we got her on the right medicine...we had a brand new baby!!!

If you want to email me, feel free for further information or if you think this might be the problem...***@****

Good luck!

i use the enfamil gentlease and it is great for her gas but just recently (she just turned 3 mos.) she has been spitting up more and more.  She is seriously drooling too.  I mean we go through about four bibs a day that are just soaked from slobber.  not to butt in but anyone have a clue why she would start spitting up....and why the slobber problem.  i know babies can start teething this early but how likely is it?

Hi, I just recently started using the Enfamil LactoFree because I was told that my baby has acid reflux. She's 3 mos and I've experienced lots of problems with her spitting up everything. This is the 5th formula I've tried and it seems as if it stays down, but I also noticed that now, my baby is always gassy, drooling, spitting up more and constipated. Nevertheless, I've been told that LactoFree is being taken off the shelves and I can't seem to find anything else. A nutritionist at the WIC Clinic told me that I should try Enfamil Gentlelease. I'm not quite sure if it'll work, but I'll just have to speak with my Pediatrician....
