Havent had a period in 3 months!

Hello, I recently had a M/C on Dec. 23 2007. I have NOT had a period since then it is almost 3 months. I have been spotting though. We would like to try again but Im not sure if I have to wait until I have another period? I have taken pregnancy tests to make sure Im not pregnant and they are neg. Has anyone experinced this? Ive read some of the questions and comments from many different web sites and havent found any answers. Please help! Thanks

I had a M/C and  D&C a couple of days later on 10 dec 2007 and i still have nothing not even spotting. I know how you feel i have just got my doctor to start cheaking to see why as they keeped telling me it was stress at first and to stop thinking and worrying about getting your period but how do you do that when all you want is your period so you can have a baby. Hope we both get them soon sorry i wasn't much help!!

I'M SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.
I HAD A MISSED M/C AND A D&C FEB 14.  I WAS 10 WEEKS AND THE BABY WAS 6 WEEKS.  I HAVEN'T HAD A PERIOD YET EITHER, HOWEVER MY MIDWIFE DID TELL ME TO CALL IF I DIDN'T GET ONE BY 6WEEKS AND SHE WOULD GIVE ME SOMETHING TO INDUCE IT. I WOULD CALL YOUR DR AND ASK SOME QUESTIONS DID YOU HAVE YOUR HCG LEVELS CHECKED AFTER THE MISCARRIAGE? I HOPE YOUR DR WILL GIVE YOU SOME ANSWERS ITS SO FRUSTRATING WHEN ALL YOU WANT TO DO IS BE PG!  GOOD LUCK I HOPE YOU GET IT SOON!

It sounds like we are in the same boat... I mc naturally dec 26th and only had spotting when my peoiods should have come and one day of light bleeding last month.  When I called my doc about it he said not to worry it can take a while for your body to get back into a reg cycle.  Easy for him to say... dh and I want to have a baby and Its kinda hard to do that when i dont even think im ovulating.  But it did take me 3 weeks to get my hcg levels to be negative so he said that could be why its taking me so long to have an af.... did your doc make sure you hcg level went all the way down? My doc said if I dont get a bfp this mont I need to come in so we can make sure everything is ok and maybe put me on something to induce af.  Best of luck!!!!  Im sorry I know hor frustrating it is : ( lots of baby dust!!!

I get my test results today so hopefully i will find out why and i will let you know what is wrong with me.You might be the same hopefully its something that is easly fixed and quickly.

I miscarried on December 25, 2007 and it took me 8 weeks to get my period.  I just finished my second period since the miscarriage and that was 2 weeks late.  I also started spotting 3 days before each period, which I normally don't have.  My OBGYN did say to call him if I didn't get my period for 6-8 weeks, so I would call your doctor.  Like lilpixie said, your body needs to get rid to the HcG levels first, so depending on how far along you were it may vary.  I would call the doctor though.
