Having a Colposcopy

Having a Colposcopy

My husband and I decided a few months ago that in November of this year we will begin trying to have a baby. About a month ago I had an abnormal pap and now I have to have a colpscopy done tomorrow (Nov 1). November 5-10th are going to be the "best" days to try and conceive which will give me time to heal after the colpscopy. My question is, should we try to conceive during that time already, or should we wait for the results? My husband is in the Navy and so we have to try to conceive during certain times when he's home. Are abnormal paps/colpscopies normal and should we just continue with our plans of conception?? Thanks!
