Heart racing, high blood pressure, 10weeks.

I am 10weeks and any time I do hardly anything my heart starts racing and my blood pressure goes up. I told my doctor about it and she said if it starts happening when I am resting or laying down I need to be seen by another doctor, and tonight that started happening. I am scared I will lose my baby. I am always hot. I dunno if that's normal or not. Anyone with any comments please comment.

I developed a heart problem while pregnant and ended up in the hospital at 9 weeks.  It was called artrial fibrulation (spell).  Has no effect whatsoever on the baby it is all mom.  If you heart starts racing for more then 5 minutes and you are sitting still go to the ER.  That is what I have been told since they corrected it in the hospital.  I am now medicated until delivery to ensure that it does not happen again.  Try not to worry about the baby - they told me the baby would have had no idea it was even happening to me.

It could also be a sign that you are developing hyperthyroidism.  If you don't goto the ER, or even if you do, make an appointment with our doctor to have labs drawn for a Thyroid Panel (TSH, Free T3, Free T4).  You are having some symptoms that I had when I first started showing symptoms of Graves' Disease.
