Hello ladies, I am back...

by Still_AndiJ, Sep 03, 2003 12:00AM
I am back, finally. Lost my internet connection due to a misdirected payment to the cable company! Got it all straightened out and am anxius to get back into the groove.

I heard from my doctor a week ago regarding the high-contrast u/s they did on the 22nd of Aug. Turned out they did see a fibroid and it's location is as my doctor put it "pretty bad" but she has no intentions of doing anything as of yet. So we have the green light to try again. My only concern is that now I know I will be following in the footsteps of every women in my family. LIterally every woman in my family (13 total now) have had to have complete hysterectomies by the age of 40-45. Some as early as 30. That kind of freaks me out, but time will tell. I am the youngest so far to have had one noticed.

Anyway, I am happy to be back and my email is up and running so ask away...

Welcome back!  Your results must not have been too bad or your doc wouldn't have given you the go-ahead, huh?

I'm officially 4 weeks and 4 days today.  I tested positive last Friday.  Yippee!!

Congrats!!!

Yeah, I figure all will be okay. She seemed to think I would be okay as the fibroid seems to grow pretty slow.
