Help?

I just found out im pregnant 4 and a half weeks I went to the doctor they told me to go to maternity clinic and they said come back at 12 weeks. Is this normal?

I am not sure which doctor you went to, but yes you must either go to maternity clinic or a gynecologist. In the first three months of pregnancy some basic tests and ultrasound scans are done to monitor pregnancy and check for complications, risk factors etc that may need to be ruled out. Hence it is best to be at a maternity clinic or registered gynecologist. Hope this helps. Take care!
