Help crying 8 month old!!!

Hey guys im writing in need of advice i have a 8 month old little lad that is always sooking day and night he loves attention how do i get him out of being extremely needy more then a normal baby also hes still waking through the night for feeds ne tips on getting him to sleep a full night and get him to nap during the day?

An eight month old could be fretting and having a fitful night sleep due to several causes. The common ones are teething, abdominal colic, hunger and attention seeking. It is important to rule out these causes one by one. During the day the toddler should be engaged in meaningful activities and given repeated small meals as appropriate for age. You could log in what he eats during the day and consult his pediatrician to check whether he is getting an adequate diet or not. Playful activities during the day would make him tired at night. Most toddlers do take a short nap after lunch. Often ear pain also makes a child fretful—so this needs to be ruled out. A toddler with ear pain often touches or pulls at the ear while crying. Please discuss with his pediatrician. Take care!
