Hormone Imbalance??

So i posted a question on the brestfeeding forum about some weight loss i have been having and someone thought i could be b/c of a hormone imbalance or thyroid problem.  So here is some background info.  I had my daughter 3 months ago, i gained 16lbs while pregnant and I am now weighing 15lbs less than when i got pregnant.  I am strictly breastfeeding so i thought that might be causing my loss.  Lately i have been dropping 1-2 lbs a week which isn't extreme, but I am 5' 10" and when i weighed myself last Tuesday i weighed 128lbs.  So I was just wondering if anyone knew any signs i should be looking for if it is an imbalance.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks!

I would check with your doctor.  You can probably google some of this (thyroid problems, and weight loss when breastfeeding) and come up with symptoms, but it is not likely you are going to be able to solve it by looking at lists of symptoms.  It might be "just" breastfeeding but doesn't sound like it, and to get a definitive diagnosis will probably take bloodwork.  Good luck, I wouldn't wait, I'd go see your doctor.
