Hotels near childrens hospital of philadelphia

Hi, can anyone reccomend a good and CLOSE hotel to stay in while getting testing done at Childrens hospital of philadelphia?  Thanks

You can also go to Yahoo, click on LOCAL at the top, and then type in HOTELS and for the location, put the zip code of the hospital.

Also try www.switchboard.com and look up the hospital, it will give you all the nearby businesses and hotels .

You can also call the hospital itself.  Often there are hotels in the area that they recommend.  Sometimes you can get a reduced rate that way, too.

I think if you mapquest the location, it will give you the option to search nearby hotels. Sorry but I live in Canada.

I live within an eye's view of Children's Hospital.  The area is under much constuction due to growth.  There is a Ronald McDonald house that helps families when they need to stay in the area.  I would contact them.  CHOP has an excellent reputation and I am sure they will do everything to help you.  If you do need a hotel I would recommend finding one right in University City to avoid transportation costs and/or parking costs.  Not sure of exactly what hotels are there but there are a few.

Thank you everyone for your advice..we found a hotel with in four blocks..the sheraton university hospital..its super expensive..but really close which cuts out the worries with traveling...god knows ill have enough stress and anxiety while waiting for tests to be done and results read..thanks again and good luck to everyone
