How good is preseed for conceiving?

Hi!Has anyone tried pre-seed lubricant for conceiving.I am getting contradictory feedbacks from different ladies on the effectiveness of pre-seed.Is it really sperm friendly and worth trying.Kindly share your experiences.

I tried it the past two cycles and HAVE NOT conceived, so I don't know. I too have heard conflicting stories. My husband doesn't want to use it anymore--he thinks it's not natural.
But then others swear by it, so who knows?

i used it and a friend of mine did and we both conceived.  unfortunately my pregnancy ended in mc...my friends did not.  when reading the book "taking charge of  your fertility" it (pre-seed) is recommended as the only form of lubrication one should use when ttc because all others can cause poor sperm motility.  probably differs for each individual.

Try green tea.  I started drinking it and within 3 days, tons of nice thin cervical mucus. I have one cup a day with some honey.

I used it for DS as a replacement for EWCM, because I never have any, and conceived that very first cycle of using it.  However, for this pg we weren't even trying and used nothing and I still got pg.  So....who knows.

It's great stuff; it feels good.  So, if you need extra lube then I highly recommend it!  But if you don't need lube then it might be best to avoid it because I too have been hearing statements lately about it's hinderance on sperm.

I don't really know... I was using it for 5 months. My doctor told me that while it was better then some lubricants it still has chemicals in it that prevent infection which are still not sperm friendly. On the other hand my friend used it while she was TTC and it worked the first time she used it. I think it's fine considering the amount of ladies on here w/ success stories. But I know another person on here who said that there doctor recommended using a little bit of mineral oil.
