So I am to continue to count after my next cycle begins?

by AnnieBrooke, Aug 19, 2006 12:00AM
Your next cycle does not begin until you start to have a period.  The first day of the bleeding is "Day 1" of your new cycle, no matter how many days long the old cycle is.  If you get to cycle day 35 without a period, then definitely test!  Another rule of thumb is to wait until one day after your period was expected to start, and if it hasn't started, test then.
