How long After HSG before pregnacy occurs?

by melstyles, Mar 06, 2006 12:00AM
I had an HSG where they inject dye into the uterus and fallopean tubes doc said everything was fine he figured there was some scare tissue in there cause the dye did not move as fast as it should, but later that day and even now having my  visit from AF I can't see how there would be anything left for scare tissue?...lol (can't spell today)
I was wondering if anyone had this done and if so how long after it was done did you get pregnate.  We have been trying for a little over 2yrs.  We have a 3 1/2 yr old son and he is looking for a little brother or sister.
Thanks all!!

I had an HSG done at the beginning of this cycle. After 8 months of trying I got pregnant this same cycle. You can call it a coincidence or you can say it was because of the HSG. I'll never really know... but they do say that your chances go up significantly 3 months after a HSG.

The only other thing that I did differently this month was Preseed. I had no CM around the time of O.

Baby Dust to you!!!

i'm a huge believer in preseed too. It took four years for my second child, but i used that stuff, and got pregnant the second time we used it.

I had a HSG test done in January 2005.  Conceived on September 16, 2005 with the help of an IUI.  I am currently 27 weeks pregnant.  13 more to go.  Yea!  Good luck to you and BaBy DuSt****
