How long after sex does implantation occur?

I am just curious how long after sex can implantation occur?  My husband and I had sex about a week ago and a few days ago I had some pink cm, I didn' t know if it was possibly implantation or maybe just from having sex and still having some left over blood from m/c or just getting ready to ovulate? I know this sounds stupid, but I didn't know who else to ask, THanks K

Implantation happens about 6-9 days after ovulation. So if you ovulated when you had sex or right after, it could very well be implantation bleeding....

Hey i have a question if anyone will answer it for me that would be nice. im kinda scared. i woke up this morning and i was fine. about 1/2hr later somewhere around my bladder started hurting. if you were wonder yes i have had sex w/my boy friend. but ive been having to go to the bathroom alot. the last time i went a lil bit of blood came out. i was wondering if this was implantation. my last period started on the 11 and ended around the 17.

Many times frequent urination, blood in your urine, trouble initiating a stream of urine and pain urinating are a sign of a UTI.  Sometimes UTIs can be caused by frequent intercourse.  One of the ways to prevent UTIs from frequent intercourse is to urinate soon after to help flush out any bacteria that may have entered your urethra during sexual activities.

Because we don't know from your post when you had intercourse it is hard to say if this blood may be implantation bleeding.

The only way to know if you have a UTI, are pregnant or if something else is going on is to visit your GYN or Primary care provider.

I had unprotected sex about a week ago he pulled out b4 he came and a day after we had sex i noticed blood in my panties this has been goin on all week even up to today I just was wondering if anyone has any idea as to why this is? could it be implantation bleeding or period or w/e Ive always been irregular missing it some months getting my period early and late so i really dont know and really would like someones advice on thiss

I'm 37 I have been trying to conceive unsuccessfully. I had light spotting during ovulation then it stopped completely. Then 6 days later light spotting again could this finally be implantation bleeding.
Also I was so nauseated the night before the light spotting.
I take prenatal vitamins everyday and clonazepam for anxiety when should I stop now or when I have a positive pregnancy test. I cannot sleep without medicine.
Please help me.

hi there, I have also been trying for baby #2 and have very irregular periods so they put me on hormone therapy just to get my periods regular. After that I still was spotting so it was hard to tell if it was implantation or just spotting, doc told me wait and take a pregnancy test. as for anxiety meds, I am on anti anx meds and while I was preg with my son they changed my meds to a c level[ranked a-d for safety durring pregnancy and nursing]med. though I am not sure what the med you are taking is ranked. Best thing will be to see your doc, ask lots of questions, and express your concerns to them. Hope I helped a little..best wishes

I haven't heard about the hormone therapy... Did you find that it really helped. Are there any side effects?
I've been trying for a little under 3 months and am going crazy. I never had a reg. period so I have no idea how long it really is... been taking test like today and the day before... but still instantly NEG. I ovulate about 10 days ago... My last couple of period were... 35 days apart and then 21 days apart... and now I'm just waiting for the next... I have breast tenderness and cravings... Which are both normal for my period as well as a little fatigue but nothing that seems to be a for sure sign...

HI, im wondering, i had sex and he came inside of me. its been about 5 days now and im wondering if im experiencing implantation bleeding, the cramping im feeling is different than that of my menstrual cycle cramps. it's between a pink & red color. and i know every woman is different, but already my breasts are feeling really tender & sore. can implantation bleeding get as heavy as my menstrual cycle? i thought i was pregnant before, but he never wnet inside me and i never seen my blood look this color, im only 20, and i dont want my period, can you please give me an anwser?

hi am ovulating, had sex last night, after about a couple of hrs after urination there was couple of blood drops, red in color... we had sex 4 days back as well...
is it implantation bleeding? i had little abdominal cramp, not severe... but no bleeding afte that.
pls advice. could i be pregnant?
