How many headaches are normal??

How many headaches are normal??

I am getting REALLY frustrated. How many headaches are normal? I will be 17 weeks tomorrow and I have been getting a headache EVERYDAY for the last week. Tylenol doesn't do anything. My dr prescribed me fioricet (sp?), but I can't take it during the day, and I don't want to be taking it all the time. I haven't taken it yet at all. My diet is no different than it was this whole pregnancy. I drink water all day and I pee all the time, so I don't think I am dehydrated. I just don't know if everyone has this many headaches, or if I am a lucky one?

I get a headache everyday as well.. sometimes they turn into migraines... I'm just trying to deal with it, but they are not uncommon in my family anyways.. Maybe it'll get better soon!!!

I get headaches as well. I think it is normal for some. Tylenol does nothing for mine either. It is just another part of being pregnant.

Yes I too get headaches..The best thing I have found to do for them to keep from having to take meds..is to get a cold rag lay on your head and just lay down and relax that usually seems to help mine...Hope it helps you too.

I was getting headaches a lot too.  My friend (who had her baby last august) gave me some advice that really helped..

make sure you drink at LEAST 64 oz of water a day
make sure you eat at regular intervals.  Doesnt matter if you are hungry or not.. eat.  Make sure you are eating enough protein.  it will make a difference

i hope you feel better :)

17 weeks..  WOW!

At about 16 weeks I started to get headaches everyday. I take extra strength tylenol and as long as I take it at the first sign of a headache I am ok. Otherwise I have to take sinus tylenol. I still get headaches every now and then but not as bad. I am about 25 weeks now. Time is flying by.

Just a suggestion, see a chiropractor. It may help, with as much as your body is changing things could be out of line that is causung you problems--besides just the hormones.  It may help. I know I went once a month to keep things in line and made delivery easier and my body felt great almost the whole time.

Perhaps you should watch your diet. Look at what your eating, sugars and salts can cause headaches. Try a bland diet for a day and see if that helps at all. I wish you luck.

I hear ya, I am 13 weeks and getting headaches non stop!  Tylenol never does anything for me, when I wasn't pregnant I'd take Excedrin for migranes (migraines) and it usually killed them right away, but now I am afraid to take anything but Tylenol cause that is all the doctor will reccomend.  I'm just trying to hang in there, but I hate this!  With 2 little ones running around, it makes it really hard to live!

I had to giggle at your post, I don't think my diet could get any more bland short of eating only water and bread!! : )
