How many weeks did you deliver? Open fourm

I am 26 weeks and I already feel like I want to be 40 weeks.  How many of you had your babys a little before your due date?  With my first DD she was only 4 days early, but I hear of people all the time saying they had there babies 2 weeks early and they were full term.  I am hoping to be one of those.  Were you induced or did you go in labor on your own?  Also when did you start going to the dr. every 2 weeks or every week and when did you start getting checked for dialation?

I was induced at 41 weeks.  It doesnot matter how much you beg and plea, they don't induce unless there is a medical concern for either you or the baby.  When your baby arrives you will wish you had extra time because all of your free time goes out the window LOL!

I delivered at 39 weeks, all natural.  I was really hoping I wouldn't be induced as I heard that could be pretty painful.

I'm now 12 weeks along with my second, and my midwife told me because I went at 39 weeks with the first, I should be prepared to deliver at 39 weeks or a bit earlier with this one.

My first son was born at 37 weeks, my 2nd son at 36 weeks. They both weighed over 7lbs and both times i went into labor naturally. Weird that both times my water broke, i had gotten up to go for an early morning pee and when i went to get up, i felt a trickle and thought OMG!! I always think about how big they would have been if i went to 40 weeks!!!

I delivered at almost 42 wks but i was induced my lil guy didn't want to come out...

with my first daughter, i was 42 weeks and went natural.  with my secnod daughter i was 39 weeks and was induced.

yes, they will induce (it depends on the doctor) even if there was no medical problems.  I was induced at 39 weeks and had an awesome experience with it.  It was so good, in fact, I go back this Wednesday to be scheduled to be induced again. i had virtually no pain and was up and around not 30 minutes after labor.  

however, they will not induce you prior to 39 weeks regardless of how much you beg and plead.

I gave birth at 38.5 week, first child, all natural.  My water broke at home...Good luck!

I gave birth at 38 weeks but had to be induced due to high blood pressure. Baby weighed in at 7lbs 10oz.

water broke at 37 weeks, DD was 5.7 lbs.

dd was born at 38 weeks induced but had emergency c-section due to low heartrate. DS was born at 36 weeks due to low amniotic fluid. dd weighed 6 lbs 12oz and ds was 6 lbs 10oz.

At 42 weeks natural at about the same time I was supposed to be induced.

I delivered six days before my due date.  I wanted to go with at least a natural start even if it went to some kind of assisted labor because I wanted to be sure the baby was ready.
