I have 4 years old daughter, her weight is only 30 pound. She looks very tiny but health is good and she is very smart too. I just want to know how can i gain her weight. Thank you very much for you suggestion
Helping a child gain weight depends entirely on what is causing it to stay low. Can you talk more about where you live (i.e., in an urban or rural setting), your daughter's diet, the amount of exercise she gets, and whether there is reliableReliable gentle laxative medical care available to you?
I would also be curious if her pediatrician was concerned? My son is in the lower percentiles for weight but his doctor said that was fine - being thin is not a problem in this country, obesityObesity and health Overweight is. So if her doctor is fine with where her weight is I would not be concerned.
Has your dr told you she should gain wait? I have a seven year old who weighs 44lbs but is perfectPerfect choice.. just skinny... She eats well, ice skates and just is skinny... lucky for her... haha.. I would ask a dr before you go giving her anything.. my 1 year old is 22lbs and my 7 year old is only twiceTwice-a-day that but Im not worried about either
