Our recent ultrasound showed that our baby has bilateral hydronephrosis. Is this something that we should be worried about? I've also heard that this diagnosis increases the baby's chances of having Down Syndrome. Should we be concerned? Our OBGYN says not to worry, but sometimes that's easier said than done. Any comments would be helpful. Thanks.
My daughter has Hydronophrosis ,. She is 15 month old and is getting ready for her 2nd Surgery. I would be happy to talk to anyone who would like to know our story.
I would say don't worry too much about it umless it is very severe, and/or your doctor is telling you to worry about it.
