I can't Wait anymore,,,Could i be??? PLEASE HELP !!!

I can't wait anymore and i can't get it out of my mind. Waiting is killing me.Time doesn't pass and i keep on thinking and thinking...Help me out of this !!

My LMP was on 1 Sept. My period is due on 28-29 Sept as the cycle is about 28 days.I've had sex once on 13 Sept. it was unprotected sex and used the withdrawl (withdrawal) method.Actually i don't know when i ovulated.

I'm keep asking myself, am i pregnant or not? i could be and i could be not.
To have an answer, i went to the lab, took " quantative Beta HCG Blood Test"
I've been told that's the most senstive blood test as it dectects the exact amount of HCG in the blood even if it's 1 unit only.

I took the test and it dected No HCG in the blood, and the result of course means ( - )
I took this test on the 22 Sept , that was about 9 days after the intercouse.Also 22 Sep is almost one week before my period is due.

I'm worried if i'm pregnant.

** Can this test detect any amount of HCG in blood "one week before the period is due",,,or that's is early??? do i need to re-test again??? how early "before the period is due" can a blood test detect HCG ???

** Is there anyone whose period is due almost in the same time and have done pregnacy test whether it's a urine or blood test??? what your "test results" ?? When did you take the test?? what kind of test did you use???

Waiting to know is toooooo hard.I need to feel that someone is sharing me in all that.

I took a HPT three days before AF was due and it came up +. I used the generic Wal-Mart brand.

I would just go get a test and take it tomorrow morning using your first mornings urine.

A blood test should be accurate. If you were pg, it would show some amount of HcG in your blood. I agree with Vikki though, maybe to ease your mind, you should take an early detection hpt! Good Luck! Shannon

Hi, I'm kinda in the same boat as you. My LMP was Sept. 3. We only had sex once, too, but we are ttc so no withdrawal!!  I also used a clearplan monitor and it was peak on that day. (Sept. 17, cd15) So, I'm hoping and praying, but I have absolutely no pg symptoms. :(
If you used the withdrawel method, and only had sex once, odds are that you are not pg....but, ya never know. stranger things have happened.
by the way, there are better ways to avoid pg than the withdrawal method...it would avoid the angst that you are going thru this month. :)

Thanks vikki and shannon for your advice. It's just i have pains in my lower back and down below in my abdominal.Maybe because i'm under tension and stress worring if i'm pregnant or not.I don't know.The test i did detected ( HCG < 1 ) and that was one week before my period is due.

** Is it early for a sensitive beta-HCG blood test ( which shows HCG level even if it's 1 unit only )to detect HCG in blood 7 days before period is due ( in case there is pregnancy) ?
Or the test result is accurate and i'm really NOT pregnant??

What's the normal HCG level in blood few days before period is due ( if there is pregnancy ) ?

I CAN'T WAIT TO KNOW !

We normally bd more than once, but I was sick up until O, then dh went on a business trip. It only takes one little spermy!!!
But, there is nooo way me or dh could bd every other day for a whole month. My dh is already not thrilled about forced baby sex. Every other day from about day 10-17 should cover it.
I do have an appt with doc oct. 1. I hope to start a few cycles of clomid. I'm not very optomistic about this month but ya never know...miracles happen!!

It's good to feel that i'm not alone in this.It's just waiting is too hard and I can't wait to know.
My period is due 28-29 Sept. I can't Wait to Know !
Tommorrow i'll go for another quantative blood test that shows the exact amont of HCG in blood. If Hcg is detect and there was change in level then i'm pregnant.If there was No change since last time results ( which was on 22 Sept) then i'm not pregnant.
I hope i'm not pregnant.
Did you take any tests untill now? any results?

Usually an hCg test can detect a positive pg as early as 6 days past conception. By the time you are 10 days post conception, your levels will at least be around 20-50, enough for a good early hpt to pick it up.

You don't want to be pregnant? What would you do if you were? Most of the girls here are ttc. Hope your ok. Scarey to be pregnant when you don't want to be. Been there. Hey you you sound like my bestfriend lol well I have to agree with everyone else I took a wal mart cheap brand test lol and I'm now 38 weeks pregnant due any day now they work just as good my test was posative a week before I was suppose to start my period I didn't belive the test so I took 3 more plus blood lol I didn't belive it until I had my first u/s but now I belive it lol I'm huge lol but being pregnant is a wounderful thing it is scarry but now I'm not scared I just want him out of me but honestly today is the 28th if you are still worried go to wal mart and get a 5 dollar test and find out I didn't want to be pregnant at first either I was about to turn 21 and I wanted to beable to go partying on my bday but that didnt happen well good luck and God bless you...
