I caved and got a HCG test and progesterone count done...Please tell me these are okay?

After trying to play it cool and not worry about my levels I went to the lab yesterday and this is what they found....I'm scared to death it seems way to high.

Progesterone 28.2
HCG 3338

I'm only 4 weeks and 4 days along.

I think your numbers are great! I was 6,790 at 5 weeks!  Good luck to you! :)

Progesterone looks just like mine at that time (I think mine was 22 at 12dpo) and I can't remember my HCG that well.  I think I was 62 at 12dpo, 150 at 14dpo and at 5 weeks I was like 8,000 (I'm sure of this one because I remember thinking how high it was).  I think you're right on track!  Good luck!

My HCG level at exactly 5 weeks was 5640. As for the other... I never knew.

The doctor told me my levels ment that I had a very strong pregnancy. I'm 28w3d now with another baby boy

My HCG was only about 800 at 4 weeks when I had an emergency and the doc said it was a good number and they they started rising rapidly to the point of where they said that was a sign of twins.  I dont remember the exact numbers but they got high fast. High numbers are good, low numbers are bad.  Maybe you are having 2 babies :)  It is WONDERFUL news that you have such a positive number.  I am so happy for you!

at 4 weeks I was only 41, both Hcg and progesterone.  The nurse called and said my hcg levels seemed low and to restest 2 days later.  I was nervous b/c I had a miscarriage in June.  I went back at 4 weeks 2 days and they were close to 2,000.  I was shocked at how high they climbed.  Yours sound great.  My doctor was very encouraged by my levels at that time and said I was off to a great start.  I am now almost 20 weeks.

lol...2 babies...that was my first thought and why I was horrified.  I thought okay, GOD has three of my babies in heaven...hope He's not trying to give me 3 back...LOL

The high number does explain my sudden sickness so early....I couldn't stand this morning I get getting nauseous.

Nothing to worry about. At 10 dpo my progesterone was 46.8 and at 5 weeks my hcg was over 13,000. Your numbers sound great.

Hi Deanne, your numbers look great!!! Mine were kind of high too, not to scare but you know I am having twins!!!!!
